An unidentified flying object crashed on a ranch 30 miles northwest of Roswell, New Mexico, some time during the first week of July, 1947.

The Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF) issued a statement claiming to have recovered a crashed “flying disk.”  An article ran on the front page of the Roswell Daily Record and the next day, RAAF changed its statement to say that the object was a conventional weather balloon, not a flying disk as they previously reported. This revised statement sparked immediate controversy and has continued to be a topic of debate 71 years later. This incident has been described as "the world's most famous, most exhaustively investigated, and most thoroughly debunked UFO claim”

Since then, every year at the “UFO Festival” takes place in Roswell, an internationally recognized event by gather experts in UFO topic. Speakers from different countries comes to Roswell to talk about disclosures, new theories, secrets, alien encounters, etcetera. Also, during the event, local and foreign people can enjoy of other activities, such as: Alien Pet Contest, Alien Costume Contest, UFO Festival Parade, concerts, the UFO Museum, delicious local food and shopping (this town has the best shops with too much UFO souvenirs’ options).




During the days of the UFO Festival, local places are decorated with UFO ornaments like this hotel at the entrance of Roswell.

Some conspiracy theories claim that radio waves, so common in the air spectrum for countless telecommunications, are also a tool of mind control, and, as a method of resistance, it is said tha an aluminum hat is an effective way to hinder these waves and not be subject to such mental control.

She is Rebecca Roth, the creative woman who started the proyect “Original Friends Dolls” when she lived in Dormitory C-3 in the Reclusorio Femenil (women’s prison) at Puerta Grande just outside of Guadalajara Mexico, where more than 600 women reside.
Rebecca knows first hand about the fear, depression and feeling of impotence being deprived of her freedom, but she found the way to funnel out all of the negative emotions it would destroy her. She made her first doll for a baby born who was in her dormitory and since then, the proyect have been growing and now Rebecca coordinates a team of ladies to work on the dolls inside the prison.




Rebecca Roth, was in the UFO Festival with her proyect “Original Friends Dolls” showing and selling an amazing “Aliens Dolls” collection made by women who are in prison in Mexico. Each doll was made with differents materials, such as fabric, buttons, broken jewerly, odds and ends and any others. Also each doll has their own name and the doll artist’s name. She is my friend Debbi Hudson. We met during the UFO Festival celebrations when I bought some souvenirs at her store. She and her husband were very nice with me showing me the town, the place were took place the famous “UFO Incident” and also at the end of the festival Debbi gave me a ride to the airport. I took this picture before we said good bye. She is one of the most interested woman I have met in my life. She kept my completely attention hearing her life stories during all the time we spent togheter.
